Website Design

PROJECT: CHILDCARE AGENCY WEBSITE

DURATION: 3 WEEKS

DETAILS: My client, the owner of Elite Childcare Nanny Finding Agency found me by a referral of another client that I had worked with before. She needed a website that would target elite parents who are looking for elite nannies and newborn childcare services at home.
After chatting with her on the phone, gathering around her wants and needs, as well as her inspirations and ideas behind her business, I was expected to provide her a simple and elegant website with so much information for different target audiences, such as parents, nannies and newborn care specialists.

THE LOOK: I relentlessly worked on creating color palettes, font styles and of course, sharing them with my client to get her input on these ideas.

DETAILS: After getting the approval from my client about certain roadmaps, styles and color choices, I started creating the website since she wanted to have the website as soon as possible due to her growing audience in real life. My job was to help her create an online presence as elite and as fast as possible.

RESEARCH: Websites, other nanny agencies, parents and nannies

METHODS: Interviews, Zoom calls, emails, surveys and comparisons and comparing with other similar and different websites to grasp ideas, inspirations and applications

DETAILS: I have interviewed five parents who had hired nannies before to get enlightened about how they hired, what mattered them and what did not work out for them. I was curious to see how many of them used a website to hire a nanny and which of those websites had more impact on them, based on what.

Following parents, I repeated the same steps with different sets of intentions and questions for nannies and agencies as well.

Sharing my findings with my client was very eye opening for both of us. We have decided on certain roadmaps for the website together, such as having FAQs sections targeting different audiences on their own pages.

Homepage had an easy access, such as the footer, logo, header.

By practicing information architecture in the header, the website served different audiences with their needs.

Adding a FAQs section, this website gave the audience more visuals than words to focus on.

LOGO DESIGN

I was asked to create a logo for my client.

After working on couple of different designs together in a week period, I went ahead to combine all of the ideas, wants and visions of my dear client to make a dark and light versions of the logos for her company.

She was very pleased with the designs that she printed her flyers, business cards and other stationaries with this logo the same day I shared it with her.

I was very pleased to be a contributor in her business that helped nannies to find jobs, parents to find nannies and kids to have a safe, trustworthy and a warm environment to grow up in.
